Overland Park, Kansas – To support its rapid growth in the government sector, Overland Park-based Veracity Consulting has added another team member to lead sales. Jonas Henkensiefken joined the team Feb. 4 as a new business development executive, with a primary focus on growing Veracity’s client base in the state, local, education and federal markets across the country.
With a special skill in building strategic industry partnerships, Henkensiefken brings more than 20 years of business development and sales experience in the IT industry, including hardware, software, IT solutions and service-based offerings. He previously served as a senior sales executive with TriCom Technical Services in Leawood, Kansas, as well as 10 years as an account director with TEKsystems in Overland Park, focused on federal, state, local and educational contracts.
“Jonas has a proven ability to manage and maintain strategic partner relationships, all while helping the client achieve their desired vision and goals,” said Chris Barr, VP of Federal Operations at Veracity. “He knows how state and federal agencies operate and what they need to succeed, and we’re excited to bring his deep insights to our growing team.”
The new hire is the latest step toward expanding the company’s government work, following Barr’s hire last fall. Barr is leading a new “federal headquarters” for Veracity to complement the corporate headquarters at the company’s current Overland Park location. Based in Washington, D.C., the new office should be opening in the next three months, said Angela Hurt, Veracity’s founder and CEO.
Henkensiefken said he’s ready for the new challenge:
