OVERLAND PARK, Kan.—Veracity, a business and technology consultancy, recently expanded its executive leadership team, hiring Deanna Ferrante as its new Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Deanna will help Veracity mature processes across all functional areas as the company is set to generate double-digit year-over-year growth during the next five years.

“Deanna’s timing is truly serendipitous,” said Angela Hurt, founder and CEO of Veracity. “We are halfway into our 16th year in business, and we're gaining momentum and continuing to see growth across all our industry sectors. She will be instrumental in ensuring we have the right people, the right tools and the right processes in place to successfully execute on our five-year growth strategy while remaining hyper-focused on what we do best: solving problems.”

Deanna brings over 20 years of experience driving operational excellence and helping teams achieve their strategic initiatives while increasing company revenue and scale.

“I am thrilled to join Veracity,” said Deanna Ferrante. “While we’re on track to meet our five-year growth goals, it’s Angela’s vision for the next 10 years that excites me most. We have a big goal, a great team and a values-driven culture. Now it’s time to scale our proven process while we continue to lead with curiosity, flexibility and transparency. I’m honored to be a part of this journey.”

Prior to Veracity, Deanna served as COO for Athlete Network, an athlete engagement software platform, and has led product, technology, strategy and client teams for a variety of Kansas City-based software and services organizations, including Perceptive Software and Netchemia.
