Washington, DC – To keep up with a growing federal market, Veracity Consulting is pleased to announce the addition of Myran Hunter to the company’s Washington office. Hunter joins as the new Director of Business Development for the federal team, and brings experience in the full lifecycle of federal business acquisition. In this role, Hunter will help Veracity’s business development teams achieve their performance goals, including capture management and proposal development.

Serving in various federal marketplace roles for nearly 15 years, Hunter initially gained experience and exposure servicing contractors in a federal market research analyst role with both Input and FedSources (now GovWin IQ) as well as SCI Consulting. Since then, he has served as a capture analyst as well as a director of client services for Bailey Systems. Through each role, Hunter developed an in-depth understanding of market trends, business analysis and the federal acquisition space.

“I thrive in situations where I can operate as an engine for growth,” he said. “And I’m excited to help Veracity expands its federal business and feel privileged to work with such a talented and driven federal team here in our nation’s capital.”

Hunter has past experience working with many federal agencies and departments, including the Department of the Army, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, Department of Homeland Security, USDA, Department of the Navy and others. In addition, he's worked with federal/civilian agencies in the areas of enterprise information technology, visual information, infrastructure and cybersecurity.
